Initial reports highlighted suboptimal performance with Wi-Fi connectivity. However, a recent major update (3.0.1) now allows connection to 5GHz networks and public Wi-Fi, significantly improving remote play stability. User feedback suggests this update has dramatically enhanced the experience.
