Pokémon Go is bringing back the Bug Out event with Sizzlipede’s debut this time

The Bug Out event is making a triumphant return to Pokémon Go, bringing with it a delightful swarm of Bug-type Pokémon and the exciting debut of Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch. Mark your calendars for March 26th to 30th, as this event promises an action-packed experience filled with wild encounters, thrilling raids, generous bonuses, and fresh challenges that will keep you engaged and entertained.

Lure Modules will be your best friend during the Bug Out event. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but they'll also amplify the number of Pokémon that appear at a PokéStop if you manage to catch enough using a single Lure Module. It's a fantastic way to maximize your Pokémon encounters.

In addition to the fun with Lure Modules, you’ll enjoy double XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, along with increased chances of earning Candy XL for trainers level 31 and up. Shiny hunters, rejoice! Your chances of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede are better than ever during this event.

The wild will be teeming with Bug-type Pokémon, with frequent sightings of favorites like Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Keep your eyes peeled—you might just run into the elusive Cutiefly!

Sizzlipede will be featured in one-star raids, appearing alongside Scyther and Nincada. Meanwhile, three-star raids will be dominated by Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will grant you Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with various event Pokémon.

Don't miss out on the free Timed Research, which offers encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, plus a handy Lure Module. If you're looking for even more rewards, consider the Paid Timed Research option for just $2 or your local equivalent.
