Lunar New Year: January 29 – February 2

Celebrate the Year of the Snake with boosted spawn rates for snake-themed Pokémon like Ekans, Onix, Snivy, Darumaka, Dunsparce, Gyarados, and Dratini (Shiny forms available for all!). Enjoy increased Lucky Pokémon trade chances, easier Lucky Friend attainment, and daily Field Research tasks rewarding PokéCoins. 2KM Eggs will hatch Makuhita, Nosepass, Meditite, Duskull, and Skorupi (Shiny possibilities!).

Legendary Flight Dynamax Moltres: February 3 – 9

Dynamax Moltres makes its debut! Catch it as a Max Monday boss at Power Spots on February 3 (6 PM – 7 PM local time). It remains available until February 9, though locations may be more limited as Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble join the Max Battle roster until February 10.

Karrablast & Shelmet Community Day: February 9

This dual Community Day (2 PM – 5 PM local time) features boosted Karrablast and Shelmet encounters, increased Shiny rates, and evolution bonuses. Evolving Karrablast or Shelmet by February 16 (10 PM) yields Escavalier (Razor Shell) or Accelgor (Energy Ball), respectively. A paid Timed Research option is available for enhanced rewards.
