Pokémon Go’s February 2025 Community Day event will feature Karrablast and Shelmet

Get ready for a double dose of Community Day fun in Pokémon GO! Karrablast and Shelmet are taking center stage on Sunday, February 9th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. Expect increased wild spawns of both Pokémon, with a chance to encounter their Shiny forms.

This Community Day offers exciting evolution opportunities. Catch enough Karrablast and Shelmet to evolve them into Escavalier and Accelgor, respectively, each learning a powerful exclusive charged attack. Escavalier will learn Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 in Gyms and Raids), while Accelgor gains Energy Ball (90 power in all battle types).

For even more rewards, a Community Day Special Research ticket is available for $2 (or local equivalent). This ticket unlocks encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring a Dual Destiny-themed Special Background, along with extra encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and Rare Candy XL.

A free Timed Research quest will also be active during the event, offering additional chances to catch Karrablast and Shelmet, and boosted Shiny odds. Don't forget to redeem available Pokémon Go codes for extra bonuses!

Enjoy boosted event bonuses throughout the three-hour event window: triple XP and double Candy for catching Pokémon, increased Candy XL chances for Trainers level 31 and above, three-hour Lure Modules and Incense, and enhanced trading benefits (one extra Special Trade and 50% reduced Stardust costs).
