Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Part Two Launches with New Cosmetic Rewards

Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues with a second phase, introducing a fresh batch of cosmetic items to the in-game shop. This update includes a new Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat. These additions join the existing Shinedust exchange option.

The event's second part runs until January 22nd, offering players a limited time to earn event tickets. However, the event shop, where these new cosmetics can be purchased, remains open until January 28th, giving players a little extra time to spend their accumulated tickets. Remember, event tickets are only distributed until January 22nd.

Following a busy holiday season filled with generous login bonuses, the game's event schedule has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and eagerly await the next expansion, anticipated for late January. The confirmed reusability of Pack Hourglasses in future expansions has prompted many to stockpile them.

This Blastoise-themed update provides a fresh incentive for daily logins. Players can exchange surplus event tickets for Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket, up to 1000 Shinedust total).

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: A Recap of Rewards

The event, which began January 6th, initially featured two new promo cards – Squirtle and Charmander. While possessing the same attacks as their standard counterparts, these promo cards boast unique artwork. The initial rewards, including a Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover, remain available. New missions, tied to Wonder Pick choices and the collection of Fire and Water-type cards, continue to award Event Shop Tickets. The Bonus Pick also offers additional tickets, streamlining the acquisition of shop items. Daily logins are strongly recommended to collect all items, especially considering the rumored inability to trade these limited-edition promo cards.
