Gigantamax Kingler Arrives in Pokémon GO's Max Battle Day Event

Pokémon GO players can look forward to the debut of Gigantamax Kingler on February 1st, 2025, as part of a special Max Battle Day event. This event will run from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, offering players their first chance to encounter this powerful Water-type Pokémon in six-star Max Battles, with a possibility of finding a Shiny variant.

The addition of Gigantamax Kingler expands the limited roster of Gigantamax Pokémon currently available in Pokémon GO. Gigantamax forms, alongside Dynamax forms, significantly boost a Pokémon's size, strength, and appearance, introducing unique G-Max Moves.

Max Battle Day Event Details:

• Date & Time: Saturday, February 1st, 2025, 2 pm to 5 pm local time
• Featured Pokémon: Gigantamax Kingler (six-star Max Battles)
• Max Mushroom Utility: Players can utilize Max Mushrooms to temporarily enhance the damage output of Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon during Max Battles.
• In-Game Store Offers:
  • A $7.99 bundle on the Pokémon GO Web Store containing six Max Particle packs.
  • A $5 ticket offering one Max Mushroom, 25,000 XP, double XP from Max Battles, and an increased Max Particle collection limit of 5600.

Event Bonuses:

• Increased Max Particle Collection: The maximum number of collectible Max Particles will be increased to 1600 during the event.
• Power Spot Enhancements: All Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles, with increased refresh rates and an 8x boost in particle rewards.
• Exploration Bonuses (1 pm to 5 pm local time): Double Max Particles from exploration and a 75% reduction in the adventure distance required to earn them.
