The Pokémon Company addresses ongoing shortages of its highly anticipated Scarlet and Violet — Prismatic Evolutions expansion, assuring fans that reprints are underway.

In a recent statement, the company acknowledged the widespread global shortages, expressing understanding for the resulting fan frustration. They confirmed that additional Prismatic Evolutions products are currently being printed at maximum capacity and will soon be distributed to licensed retailers. While no firm release date for these reprints was given, the company emphasized their commitment to resolving the issue as quickly as possible. The statement refrained from specifying the causes of the shortages, simply attributing them to "high demand."

Despite the initial January 17th, 2025 release date, several additional Prismatic Evolutions products are planned for release throughout the year, including:

• A Mini Tin and Surprise Box (February 7th, 2025)
• A Booster Bundle and Accessory Pouch Special Collection (March 7th and April 25th, 2025 respectively)
• A Super-Premium Collection (May 16th, 2025)
• A Premium Figure Collection (September 26th, 2025)

Furthermore, players of the Pokémon TCG Live mobile game can obtain Prismatic Evolutions cards starting January 16th, 2025, via the Battle Pass. The Pokémon Company thanked fans for their patience and reiterated their dedication to meeting the high demand for this popular expansion.
