Project R.I.S.E. is bringing Clash Heroes back from the dead (sort of)

Author: Daniel Feb 18,2025

Clash Heroes lives on… in spirit! While the original Clash Heroes is no more, its unique visual style is being resurrected in Supercell's new pre-alpha game, Project R.I.S.E.

This isn't a direct sequel, but rather a social roguelite where you team up with two other players to conquer The Tower. The core visual assets – the art style, characters, and other graphical elements – are being repurposed from Clash Heroes, offering a familiar aesthetic to fans.

Project R.I.S.E.: A New Beginning

Project R.I.S.E. has been in development for some time. While its future success is uncertain (Supercell is known for its rigorous approach to game development and discontinuing underperforming titles), its pre-alpha launch is promising. The game's potential may be impacted by the recent launch of Squad Busters, another multiplayer title from Supercell.

However, the familiar Clash Heroes art style should provide a strong foundation for a unique roguelite experience. For those craving more mobile gaming action, be sure to check out our list of the best mobile games of 2024!
