PS5 owners will be able to play both Gran Turismo and Forza Horizon

The long-standing console wars and the exclusivity of major titles have fueled countless debates. A central point of contention: Forza (Xbox) versus Gran Turismo (PlayStation). Owning both consoles wasn't always feasible, but that's changing. PlayStation gamers will soon have the chance to experience Forza firsthand.

Forza Horizon 5 is officially arriving on PS5! The announcement was made via social media, and a dedicated PlayStation Store page confirms its impending release. While a precise launch date remains unannounced, a Spring 2025 release is anticipated.

Panic Button is leading the PS5 port development, with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games providing crucial support. The PS5 version will offer feature parity with other platforms and participate in cross-platform play.

Furthermore, a free content update, "Horizon Realms," is in the works for all platforms. Horizon Festival participants can look forward to revisiting beloved locations from past "Evolving Worlds" updates, alongside some exciting unannounced additions.
