Should you pull for Makiatto in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium? The short answer is a resounding yes, provided you meet certain conditions.
Makiatto remains a top-tier single-target DPS unit, even in the established CN server. However, she's not ideal for automated play and requires some manual control to maximize her effectiveness. Her Freeze ability synergizes exceptionally well with Suomi, a top support character. Therefore, if you already possess Suomi and are building a Freeze team, Makiatto is a must-have. She's also a strong general-purpose DPS, making her a valuable addition even if you're not focusing on a Freeze composition.
However, there are exceptions. If you've already secured Qiongjiu, Suomi, and Tololo through rerolling, Makiatto might not offer a significant upgrade, at least initially. While Tololo's late-game DPS diminishes, potential future buffs in the CN version could improve her standing. With Qiongjiu and Tololo (and Sharkry supporting Qiongjiu), adding Makiatto might be redundant. In this scenario, conserving Collapse Pieces for future units like Vector and Klukay would be a wiser strategy.
Ultimately, Makiatto's value depends on your current roster. If you lack a strong second DPS, especially for challenging boss fights, she's an excellent choice. But if you're already well-equipped with top-tier DPS units, consider saving your resources for other characters.
