Ubisoft recently unveiled Rainbow Six Siege X, not as a new game, but as a significant upgrade to the nine-year-old Rainbow Six Siege. This announcement, made on February 17, 2025, precedes the game's 10th anniversary.

March 2025 Showcase:

A dedicated showcase is planned for March 13, 2025, at 10:00 am PDT / 1:00 pm EDT in Atlanta, Georgia. This event will detail the extensive gameplay enhancements, refined mechanics, and overall improvements included in Siege X. Limited in-person tickets ($10 USD, including a shirt and in-game cosmetic pack) are available to US and Canadian residents aged 18+ with unbanned Rainbow Six Siege accounts. A VIP package giveaway (hotel, flight, event entry) is also running for US and Canadian residents.

What to Expect:

Ubisoft promises "new ways to play, deepened tactical gameplay, refined game feel, and major upgrades all around." Specific details will be revealed during the March showcase.

10th Anniversary & Season 10:

Rainbow Six Siege initially launched on December 1, 2015, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, later expanding to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game's longevity is testament to Ubisoft's continuous updates. Season 10, "Operation Prep Phase," begins March 4, 2025, introducing a new operator (Aurora, with deployable bulletproof doors), a new elite skin for Aruni, and a revamped reputation system.
