Partner/Indie World Showcase Delivers a Bounty of Games
Nintendo's strategy of presenting two smaller showcases proved effective, delivering a wealth of announcements. Highlights include the surprise releases (detailed below), Capcom Fighting Collection 2, the Suikoden I & II remasters, Yakuza Kiwami, Tetris Forever, MySims, Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition, new entries in the Atelier and Rune Factory franchises, and much more. I recommend watching the full video; it's well worth your time.

Castlevania Dominus Collection ($24.99)
A third Castlevania collection joins the lineup, courtesy of a surprise Direct drop. It features the three Nintendo DS titles: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. Also included is the notoriously poor arcade game, Haunted Castle, alongside an M2-developed remake that significantly improves upon the original. This collection offers excellent emulation and a wealth of features, representing incredible value for its price.
Pizza Tower ($19.99)
This Wario Land-inspired platformer sprints onto the Switch, another surprise release from the Direct. Players must navigate five massive floors of the Pizza Tower to destroy it and save their restaurant. Fans of Wario's handheld adventures will appreciate this title, but even those without strong Wario feelings should consider it if they enjoy platformers. A review is planned.
Goat Simulator 3 ($29.99)
Yet another surprise release! It's Wednesday, and these surprise drops are keeping things interesting. Goat Simulator 3 delivers the expected chaotic goat shenanigans. While performance on the Switch remains to be seen (more powerful consoles have experienced some issues), the inherent chaotic nature of the game might even complement any performance hiccups. Ultimately, it's a question of whether you're willing to risk your Switch's sanity for some silly goat antics.
Peglin ($19.99)
While it's tempting to criticize EA's decision to not bring PopCap games to the Switch, Peglin offers a satisfying alternative for Peggle fans. Previously available on mobile, this title blends Peggle mechanics with turn-based RPG roguelite elements. A review will follow soon.
Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story ($20.00)
Kairosoft adds a popular license to its established simulation formula. Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story features characters from the Doraemon manga and anime, with a noticeable effort to remain faithful to the source material. Even some characters from the manga artist's other works make cameo appearances as customers.
Pico Park 2 ($8.99)
More Pico Park for existing fans. Up to eight players can enjoy local or online multiplayer in this cooperative puzzle game. While not significantly different from its predecessor, it's a solid addition for those who enjoyed the first game.
Kamitsubaki City Ensemble ($3.99)
An affordable rhythm game featuring music from Kamitsubaki Studio. Simple, yet enjoyable for its price point.
SokoPenguin ($4.99)
A classic Sokoban-style puzzle game starring a penguin. One hundred levels of crate-pushing await.
Q2 Humanity ($6.80)
Over three hundred quirky physics-based puzzles. Players utilize character abilities and drawing mechanics to solve problems. Up to four players can participate in local or online multiplayer.
