How to Use the R.E.P.O. Lobby Size Mod

For fans of online multiplayer horror games like Content Warning and Lethal Company, R.E.P.O. offers a familiar yet enhanced experience. If you've played those titles and wished for larger squads, R.E.P.O. addresses that desire with a lobby size mod. Here's how to use it:

Installing the More Players Mod in R.E.P.O.

While R.E.P.O. generously allows six players by default, this mod expands those limits. You'll need BepInEx, a mod framework, to get started. Here's the process:

  1. Download and install BepInEx from Thunderstore.
  2. Download the More Players mod from Thunderstore.
  3. Open the downloaded .zip file.
  4. Drag the "plugins" folder into the BepInEx directory within your game's files.

That's it! The More Players mod is installed. Now, let's adjust the lobby size.

How to Increase Lobby Size

To change the maximum number of players, you'll need to edit a configuration file:

  1. Locate the BepInEx config folder.
  2. Open the zelofi.MorePlayers.cfg file using Notepad (or a similar text editor).
  3. Find the line that says "Maximum Players" and change the numerical value to your desired lobby size. For example, enter "8" for an eight-player lobby.
  4. Save the file and launch the game.

Important Note: Setting the number too high might cause the game to crash. Start with a moderate increase and adjust as needed.
