Samsung has introduced six Mini-LED TV models for 2025, with three of them available for purchase starting today. The Neo QLED QN990F and QN900F are true 8K TVs, featuring incremental improvements such as new anti-glare technology, the One Connect wireless transmitter box, and access to Samsung's Art Store, previously exclusive to the Frame TVs. The new 4K Mini-LED models include the QN90F, QN85F, QN80F, and QN70F. The top-tier QN90F boasts a 165Hz refresh rate, Gen 3 processor, and anti-glare coating similar to the S95F. The mid-range QN85F is notable for being Samsung's first 100" TV.

The new OLED lineup for 2025 includes the S95F, S90F, and S85F, each with incremental upgrades. The flagship S95F features a new NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, a 165Hz refresh rate, enhanced anti-glare coating, and a QD OLED panel promising up to 2,000 nits of brightness. The S90F comes with the Gen 3 processor, a 144Hz refresh rate with VRR, and a QD OLED panel offering up to 1,300 nits of brightness for models 55" and up. The S85F, considered the "budget" option, includes a Gen 2 processor and is the only model currently available.

The Frame Pro is set to debut this year alongside the standard Frame TV. It will feature a superior Neo QLED Mini-LED panel for enhanced color and brightness, a 144Hz refresh rate, new anti-glare technology, and wireless connectivity via a "One Connect" box. The standard Frame TV will continue to be offered at a lower price point.

Samsung QN90D (2024) Review by Jaron Schneider

Samsung’s 2024 mini LED QN90D is a highly refined television with a host of new features that significantly enhance its value. Although priced on the higher end, its brightness, color quality, multiple HDMI 2.1 ports, and built-in gaming capabilities justify the cost.

AI and Anti-Glare Tech Are the Highlights for Samsung

Samsung is heavily investing in AI technology for 2025, introducing "Vision AI" that recognizes content details and provides real-time personalized commentary. More models will also feature AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro for optimized image quality. Other AI enhancements include Active Voice Amplifier Pro for voice isolation, AI Optimization, and AI Energy Mode. Additionally, Samsung is adopting a matte-like anti-glare coating across many models, which minimizes reflections without desaturating colors, a feature first seen on the S95D in 2024.
