Image: x.comThe speculation, which was even supported by insider and journalist Jeff Grubb, claimed that remasters of the classic God of War titles would be unveiled during the event. This generated considerable excitement, leading Santa Monica Studio to release the following clarification:
"Pantheons collide! We are delighted to present a lineup of Greek and Norse characters for this special panel celebrating 20 years of God of War, where we will reflect on the series' past two decades. We want to be perfectly clear: given the star-studded cast and the excitement around this milestone, no announcements are planned for this event." Santa Monica Studio
While no game reveals are scheduled, the studio has released new thematic artwork showcasing Kratos and Jörmungandr. The event will also feature appearances from key voice actors from the series, such as Terrence 'C.J.' Carson, the original voice of Kratos, and Carole Ruggier, who voiced Athena.
