Remember Sonic Rumble? The upcoming Sonic game where Sonic and friends swap high-speed adventures for Fall Guys-style chaotic party fun? Following its May CBT, Sonic Rumble is prepping for launch – or rather, a pre-launch rollout.
Sonic Rumble's Phased Pre-Launch
SEGA has launched Sonic Rumble in the Philippines on Android and iOS. This marks Phase 1 of the pre-launch, running throughout the summer. All gameplay data from this initial phase will be reset afterward.
Phase 2, arriving in the fall, will expand the pre-launch to Peru and Colombia. Phase 3, encompassing additional (currently unannounced) regions, will follow.
Global pre-registration will open after Phase 3, anticipated by year's end or early next year. Given Fall Guys' recent success, Sonic Rumble aims for a swift launch.
Gameplay Details
Sonic Rumble, similar to Stumble Guys and Fall Guys, features mini-games packed with zany obstacles and challenges. Play solo or team up with friends.
However, Sonic Rumble adds a unique twist. Unlike Fall Guys' straightforward races, this game incorporates classic Sonic villains – because what's a Sonic game without them?
Expect obstacle-dodging mayhem punctuated by appearances from Dr. Eggman and other antagonists. Philippine players can download Sonic Rumble now from the Google Play Store.
