The Sims 1 and 2 might come back to PC very soon

The Sims franchise is marking its 25th anniversary with a bang, and while Electronic Arts has unveiled its celebratory plans, the potential for unexpected announcements remains high.

A recent Sims teaser subtly hinted at the series' first two installments, sparking fervent fan speculation about a possible revival. While official confirmation is pending, Kotaku sources indicate a potential digital PC release of The Sims 1 and 2, complete with their original expansion packs, by the end of the week.

The possibility of console versions and their release dates, however, remain uncertain. Given the strong nostalgic appeal and potential profitability, a console release seems highly probable.

The original Sims 1 and 2 are now difficult to legally access. Their return would undoubtedly be a welcome surprise for long-time fans.
