Sky: Children of the Light kicks off the Season of Radiance to usher in 2025 with a splash of colour

Sky: Children of the Light is brightening up 2025 with its vibrant new Season of Radiance update! This major update introduces a wealth of colorful content, most notably a Dye Workshop.

Thatgamecompany's all-ages MMO is getting a much-requested feature: the ability to customize the colors of your cosmetics. The new Dye Workshop, located in the Aviary Village, allows players to recolor their existing items, offering a technicolor makeover. A helpful Radiance Guide will walk you through the process.

But it's not just about superficial changes. The update introduces Dark Plants scattered throughout the kingdom, which must be harvested to create dyes. Players can even experiment by mixing dyes to create unique shades. And to give you plenty to customize, the update also includes new hairstyles, capes, and outfits.

The Season of Radiance begins January 20th. While the addition of a dye system might seem overdue, it promises to add a fresh layer of enjoyment for both veteran and new players.
