Pokémon Go Announces January 2025 Community Day Featuring Sprigatito!

Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! The first Community Day of 2025 has been announced, and it's bringing the Grass-type starter Sprigatito into the spotlight. Mark your calendars for January 5th!

From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, Sprigatito will appear much more frequently in the wild. This is your chance to catch plenty of these adorable Grass Cat Pokémon.

Evolving your Sprigatito during the event (or within the five-hour post-event window) into Floragato and then Meowscarada will unlock the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It will also permanently learn Flower Trick, boosting its combat capabilities.

This Community Day event comes packed with fantastic bonuses:

• Triple Stardust and Double Candy: Catching Pokémon will yield significantly increased rewards.
• Double Candy XL Chance (Level 31+): High-level Trainers have a greatly improved chance of obtaining Candy XL.
