RuneScape just released their April Developer Diary, spilling all the details about their latest update - Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly. This brand new quest launches today and keeps adventurers busy until April 28th. Brace yourself to navigate the treacherous Shifting Tombs alongside Leela and Ozan as you work to alter the desert's destiny.
Everything You Need to Know About Pharaoh’s Folly
Tensions in the Kharidian desert are reaching boiling point with Menaphos descending into turmoil. Osman's shocking betrayal against his own people has sparked internal collapse throughout the city.
The situation couldn't be worse - citizens are fractured, whispers of Amascut's influence slither through dark corners, and escaping the Shifting Tombs merely marks the first hurdle in a series of looming threats.
Fortunately, you won't face these challenges alone. Leela's joining the fight with fresh allies, including some faithful animal companions. Together, you'll unravel Menaphos' buried secrets while uncovering Osman's true motives.
Braving the Scorching Sands Once More
Successful adventurers who conquer Pharaoh's Folly earn juicy rewards: Thieving and Agility XP boosts, "The Rabble-Rouser" title, and Leela's Favour bracelet - your new teleportation lifeline across Menaphos.
This game-changing bracelet lets you hop between all Menaphos districts, Sophanem slayer dungeon, shifting tombs, and active soul obelisks with ease.
But fair warning - this quest isn't for fresh-faced newbies just leaving Lumbridge. You'll need level 87 Slayer, completion of Beneath Scabaras' Sands, and progress through Do No Evil in Phite Club.
Also make sure your Fort Forinthry structures are properly upgraded. Only then can you rendezvous with Leela at Menaphos' gates for this high-stakes mission to save the city. If you've got what it takes, download RuneScape now and answer the desert's call!
