XD Inc. has unleashed the Night Crimson update for its popular tactical RPG, Sword of Convallaria. This expansion, arriving just months after the game's July launch, delivers a wealth of new content for millions of players on PC and mobile.

Key features of the Night Crimson update include:

• Continued Waverun City Storyline: The Spiral of Destinies campaign continues with the introduction of innovative "investigative clue wall" gameplay. This detective-style mechanic integrates puzzle-solving with tactical combat, adding a strategic layer to your choices as you unravel mysteries under the guidance of Safiyyah.

• New SP Character Type: Meet SP Characters – alternate versions of existing characters boasting unique appearances and combat skills. SP Rawiyah arrives January 3rd, followed by Taair on January 17th. Unlocking SP forms for characters you already own unlocks exclusive SP skills, boosting the combat prowess of both the original and SP versions.

• Time-Limited Events and Rewards: Launched December 20th, Night Crimson events offer plentiful rewards, including Secret Fates, legendary trinkets, and exclusive avatar frames. The Waverun Tournament, kicking off January 3rd, allows you to trade event points for special items, providing a significant advantage in battles.

• Behind-the-Scenes Peek: The update offers a behind-the-scenes look at the game's development, including developer messages hinting at future content and a video message from Safiyyah's Japanese voice actor. A new theme song, "Never Apart," is also included, featuring a Japanese version by Hikasa Yoko.
