HoYoverse's Tears of Themis unveils "Ballad of the Dunes," a captivating collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This event seamlessly blends the game's detective elements with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a city bordering the Gobi Desert.

Ballad of the Dunes: A Journey Through Time

This crossover event immerses players in a world of history, romance, and mystery. Players will unravel intriguing cases while experiencing the atmosphere of the ancient Silk Road. Key additions include:

• Four New MR Cards: Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius receive stunning new MR cards, each inspired by different aspects of Dunhuang's culture, showcasing elements like flying apsaras, intricate murals, and the pipa. The artistic style mirrors the ancient performers depicted in the Mogao Caves, reflecting the Silk Road's rich artistic fusion. The card titles are: Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation." Each card features unique Private Messages, offering a deeper exploration of this thousand-year-old journey.

From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. The core gameplay involves a cell-flipping board game to uncover prizes. The ultimate reward is a choice of one of the four new Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Flipping 100 cells unlocks the exclusive Celebration – Dunes Namecard.
