But first, a prologue! The "Lotus Eaters" quest, launching in August 2024, reunites players with a beloved Warframe character and sets the stage for the main event. This prologue also introduces Sevatgoth Prime and their unique weaponry. Completing "Lotus Eaters" (and all preceding quests) is a prerequisite for experiencing Warframe: 1999, slated for release in Winter 2024.

Warframe: 1999 plunges players into an alternate 1999, where the Y2K bug manifests as a deadly virus. The setting? Höllvania, a vibrant 90s city corrupted by Techrot. Navigate this retro-futuristic landscape using the new Atomicyles – vehicles capable of bullet jumps, drifts, and even explosive maneuvers. Leading the charge is the Hex, a team of six heroes, each sporting a Protoframe – a Warframe showcasing the human beneath.

The Hex boasts a star-studded cast, including Arthur (Excalibur), Aoi (Mag), and Quincy (the new CYTE-09 Warframe).
