My Time At Sandrock offers a rich experience, including the possibility of finding love and building a life with your chosen villager. To take that next step, you'll need to upgrade your home, increase your relationship score, and acquire a crucial item: a double bed. Locating one can be tricky, so let's explore your options.
Where to Buy a Double Bed in My Time at Sandrock
The most accessible double bed is available at "By The Stairs," a shop located on the lower level of town, nestled between the Commerce Guild and the Civil Corps building. Arvio runs this shop, and the Yakboy Double Bed costs 6,250 Gols. Remember, discounts may be available. Purchasing this bed is a significant step towards marriage in the game.
This bed occupies a 3x5 space and is for indoor placement only. Note that you'll need a second Yakboy Double Bed to complete the "The President and His Wife" side mission. Due to its cost, saving up is essential.
Upgrading and Redecorating the Yakboy Double Bed
While the standard Yakboy Double Bed's aesthetics might be simple, you can enhance its appearance. Dyeing it with a single pigment changes its color. Alternatively, you can transform it into the more visually appealing Starry Double Bed. The upgrade requires specific materials:
- Starry Night Double Bed Headboard: 3 Hardwood Planks
- Starry Night Double Bed Mattress and Cover: 4 Wool
- Mom's Quilts: 4 Wool Cloth, 6 Feathers, 3 Thin Threads
- Starry Night Footboard: 3 Hardwood Planks, 3 Tanned Leather
Other Double Beds Available in My Time At Sandrock
Currently, only one additional double bed is available. The Elegant Large Bed is part of the paid Far East Furniture Pack ($3.99 USD). After purchase and installation, this bed (which occupies a 4x5 space) will be delivered to your in-game mailbox. The pack also includes nine other elegant furniture pieces in a matching style and color scheme. Unlike the Yakboy bed, the Elegant Large Bed cannot be customized or dyed.
