Tiny Pokémon Take Center Stage in Latest Pokémon Go Event

The Pokémon Go "Small Yet Strong" event is coming! From February 5th to 8th, trainers will have increased odds of encountering extra-small (XXS) and extra-large (XXL) Pokémon, plus a chance to catch the shiny debut of Nymble.

This event offers double XP for catching Pokémon and features boosted wild spawns of various Pokémon, including Paras, Natu, Joltik, and different Burmy forms. Keep an eye out for regional variations of Flabébé – Red Flower (Europe, Middle East, Africa), Blue Flower (Asia-Pacific), and Yellow Flower (Americas), with a chance to find White or Orange Flower Flabébé anywhere.

Raids will also be amped up! Five-Star Raids will feature Dialga and Enamorus (Incarnate Forme), while Mega Raids will star Mega Medicham and Mega Tyranitar. Both raid and wild encounters provide opportunities for Shiny Pokémon.

2km Eggs will hatch Togepi, Azurill, Budew, and Dedenne. Field Research tasks reward encounters with Burmy and Nymble. Don't miss the event-exclusive Timed Research and Collection Challenge for extra Stardust, Poké Balls, and more event Pokémon encounters. PokéStop Showcases will also feature event Pokémon.
