"Torchlight: Infinite Season 8: Sandlord Launches This Month"

Torchlight: Infinite has just unveiled its thrilling Season 8: Sandlord, set to launch on April 17th. This season promises a significant transformation with the introduction of the Cloud Oasis, new economic gameplay mechanics, and a complete overhaul of the Deep Space area.

In Season 8, players won't just be battling through hordes of monsters; they'll have the opportunity to build and manage their own empire in the skies within the new Cloud Oasis. Here, you'll engage in trading resources, assigning workers, and managing production lines to fortify your aerial stronghold.

Thea makes a return in this season with a new twist. Her trait, Blasphemer, swaps her divine powers for a curse known as Desecration. This curse starts off mild but escalates significantly, enhancing Erosion damage inversely proportional to her remaining blessing power. Players can further customize this trait to amplify area of effect explosions or scale damage with health, making it an ideal choice for fans of damage-over-time and synergy-focused builds.

Endgame content is also receiving a major update. Deep Space has been completely revamped, featuring five new stages, larger maps, and more challenging enemies. Players can now adjust the risk and reward levels using the new Probes system. Each Probe increases the difficulty but also the potential for better loot, including Compass chests via the Compass Probe.

The update introduces a Blending System for belt crafting, allowing players to fuse Hero Traits, Talent nodes, and unique affixes into a single item slot, offering deeper customization for character builds. A new boss, Night Slayer – The Wilting Plume, has been added to the Plane Watcher and the 20th floor of Supreme Showdown.

Celebrating the season's launch, the Sands of Fortune anniversary event will run from April 17th to May 1st. Participants can complete tasks to earn Gold Rush Attempts and compete for a share of a $250,000 prize pool.
