Originally launched in Japan on February 24, 2021, for iOS, Android, and PC, the game introduces players to a world where legendary racehorses are reborn as "horse girls" or "Umamusume." These characters, resembling high school girls with horse-like features such as ears and tails, train at Tokyo's Tracen Academy with dreams of becoming renowned racers and idols.

The game's Steam page promises an immersive sports life simulation, featuring an in-depth training system and top-of-the-line 3D graphics. Players can scout and train over 20 different Uma Musumes through a gacha system, competing in races and showcasing stunning performances.
