Upcoming Pokemon GO Event Adding 2 New Paldean Pokemon

Pokemon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over event, launching January 15th, introduces Shroodle and Grafaiai! This exciting event also features a special research quest to rescue Shadow Palkia and increased Shadow Pokémon encounters.

Shroodle, a Poison/Normal-type Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and its evolution Grafaiai, will debut in Pokémon GO. These Gen 9 Pokémon will be available through 12km Eggs (Shroodle) and evolution with 50 Shroodle Candy (Grafaiai).

Event Details (January 15th, 12 AM – January 19th, 8 PM local time):

• New Pokémon: Shroodle (12km Eggs), Grafaiai (Evolution)
• Surprise Encounter: Croagunk (Snapshot encounter)
• Increased Team GO Rocket Activity: More frequent appearances at PokéStops and in balloons.
• Shadow Pokémon Frustration Removal: Use a Charged TM to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon.

Event Additions:

• Special Research: Rescue Shadow Palkia.
• Field Research: Rewards include Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs.
• Collection Challenges & Showcases: Event-themed challenges and showcases.
• In-Game Shop Bundle: 300 Coin bundle including an Incubator, Rocket Radar, and Premium Battle Pass.

Beyond Fashion Week, the Corviknight line arrives January 21st, a Shadow Raid Day is on the horizon, and a Classic Community Day featuring Ralts is scheduled for January 25th. Get ready for a packed few weeks in Pokémon GO!
