Valheim: Your Guide to Merchant Outposts

This guide details how to locate and utilize the three merchants in Valheim: Haldor (Black Forest), Hildir (Meadows), and the Bog Witch (Swamp). Their locations are procedurally generated, making them challenging to find without assistance.

Finding Valheim's Merchants

Valheim's merchants offer unique and valuable items to aid your survival. However, their randomized spawn locations can be difficult to pinpoint. The most efficient method is using the Valheim World Generator (created by wd40bomber7), which reveals merchant locations based on your world seed. Alternatively, you can embark on a search, keeping in mind the approximate distances from the world center:

• Haldor (Black Forest): Within a 1500m radius of the world center. He's often near Elder spawn points (indicated by glowing ruins in Burial Chambers).
• Hildir (Meadows): Between 3000m and 5100m from the world center, with spawn points roughly 1000m apart. A T-shirt icon appears on the map when you're close.
• Bog Witch (Swamp): Between 3000m and 8000m from the world center, with spawn points approximately 1000m apart. Look for a Cauldron icon on the map.

Once located, build a portal near each merchant for easy access.

Hildir offers clothing with stamina reduction buffs and undertakes quests rewarding access to additional inventory items. These quests involve retrieving chests from various biomes after defeating mini-bosses:

• Brass Chest: Sealed Towers (Plains)
