This week, the spotlight shines on both Voltorb and Hisuian Voltorb, giving players a double chance at catching these Electric-type Pokemon and their Shiny variants. Both Pokemon offer significant advantages, especially when you need that extra burst of damage.

As an Electric-type, Hisuian Voltorb has different damage interactions: it takes increased damage from Bug, Fire, Ice, and Poison-type moves (160%), reduced damage from Grass, Steel, and Water-type moves (63%), and significantly reduced damage from Electric-type moves (39%). The optimal moveset for Hisuian Voltorb is Tackle and Thunderbolt, offering 5.39 DPS and 37.60 TDO, with damage boosted in partly cloudy and rainy weather. Its Shiny version sports a distinctive black body instead of the usual orange.
