Gaijin Entertainment's latest update launches the open beta for aircraft battles in War Thunder Mobile, delivering intense aerial combat. This update introduces a comprehensive air tech tree, a dedicated air-focused mode, and over 100 planes from three nations (USA, Germany, and USSR), with more to come. Iconic aircraft such as the P-51 Mustang, Messerschmitt Bf 109, and La-5 are readily available.

Players can focus on a single nation's tech tree or diversify their progress across multiple nations. High-ranking aircraft can be acquired through blueprints earned in in-game events, starting in early October.

The open beta includes a new Aviation campaign, featuring an aircraft hangar for managing vehicles, researching tech trees, and upgrading crews. Squadrons of up to four planes can be formed, allowing for customization of aircraft and armaments.

The aircraft hangar serves as a central hub for managing vehicles, selecting camouflage, viewing the tech tree, and inviting friends to squads. Each aircraft slot offers options to swap vehicles, modify armaments, or upgrade crews. Squadron composition is flexible, allowing for diverse aircraft combinations regardless of class, nation, or rank.
