Wario Land 4 Enriches Nintendo Switch Online Library

Nintendo Switch Online subscribers with the Expansion Pack will get a treat on Valentine's Day: Wario Land 4 is joining the service's Game Boy Advance library on February 14th!

A newly released trailer showcases the game's return. Access is included at no additional cost for those with an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.

The game's description teases Wario's latest treasure hunt: "The avaricious Wario returns, this time seeking untold riches within a supposedly cursed pyramid. He soon discovers the curse is no laughing matter, and survival itself becomes the ultimate prize."

Players can expect 20 expansive levels filled with gold, treasure, and bonus items to unlock after each stage. A selection of engaging minigames provides a welcome respite between adventures.

Originally released in 2001 to critical acclaim (scoring a 9/10 from IGN), Wario Land 4's innovative level design and challenging gameplay set it apart from typical side-scrollers. IGN's review praised its variety and the emphasis on puzzle-solving to progress.

This marks the 24th Game Boy Advance title added to the Nintendo Switch Online library, joining a roster of classics including Mario Kart: Super Circuit, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team.
