Warzone Lobby Crashes Plague Players

Call of Duty: Warzone players are experiencing game freezes and crashes during loading screens, sometimes resulting in unfair penalties. Raven Software acknowledges the issue and is working on a permanent fix.

While a complete solution is pending, a temporary fix has been implemented to prevent Skill Rating penalties and timeouts for players disconnecting before joining Ranked matches. This addresses player concerns about unwarranted punishments due to the bug. Penalties will still apply for players leaving matches in progress.

This recent issue follows other challenges faced by Raven Software in 2024, including a temporary matchmaking outage and ongoing reports of cheating and bugs. The January 2025 update, while substantial, didn't fully resolve all problems. The ongoing glitches, particularly those affecting Ranked play, remain a source of frustration for the Warzone community. The developers are actively working to resolve these issues.
