Wicked Genshin Impact bug allows you to deal terrible, terrible damage to bosses

Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This unexpected strategy leverages the often-underestimated Hydro Traveler, a character many deem a weak DPS option.

The method is remarkably straightforward. By strategically placing a significant number of Xiao Lanterns (obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival) near a boss, and then activating the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst, players witness a dramatic reduction in the boss's health.

This occurs because the Elemental Burst's AoE damage is amplified when interacting with objects. Deploying a large quantity of lanterns—a hundred, for example—can result in damage output reaching into the millions.

While this exploit is undoubtedly a temporary advantage, likely to be patched in a future update, it currently provides a remarkably easy way to conquer challenging boss encounters.
