Patch 11.1 of World of Warcraft will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.
The World of Warcraft 20th-anniversary event, concluding after 11 weeks, allowed players to acquire Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Any remaining tokens could already be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events. Blizzard confirmed that these tokens will have no future use.
This automatic conversion in Patch 11.1 ensures players won't be left with unusable currency. While the exact release date for Patch 11.1 is unannounced, February 25th is a strong possibility, given the timing of other in-game events. This means the conversion will likely happen after the second Turbulent Timeways event concludes. Timewarped Badges obtained through this conversion can be saved for future Timewalking events, as none of the associated rewards are being removed.
World of Warcraft's Automatic Bronze Celebration Token Conversion in Patch 11.1
The automatic conversion prevents players from retaining worthless Bronze Celebration Tokens after the anniversary event's January 7th conclusion. This streamlined process eliminates unnecessary clutter in players' currency tabs. The consistent 1:20 exchange rate mirrors the in-event conversion.
