New leaks suggest a permanent dress-up mode is coming to Zenless Zone Zero in Version 1.5, launching January 22nd. This mode, initially introduced as a "Bangboo Beauty Contest," will allow players to customize the outfits of Eous, the game's mascot. Reliable leaker, Flying Flame, shared screenshots showcasing various clothing items for Eous. While the mode itself will become permanent, event-specific rewards will be time-limited. This event is also rumored to feature a long-awaited skin for Nicole Demara.

Version 1.4 introduced S-Rank units Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa (the latter being free), alongside new permanent combat-focused game modes. Version 1.5 appears to continue this trend of diverse gameplay, potentially adding a temporary platformer mode alongside the dress-up feature. This follows HoYoverse's pattern in other titles, such as Honkai: Star Rail's cocktail-making and Genshin Impact's card game.
