EAs langjähriges Handyspiel „The Simpsons: Tapped Out“ endet offiziell. Nach einer zwölfjährigen Laufzeit wird das Spiel Anfang 2025 eingestellt.

Der Shutdown-Zeitplan:

In-App-Käufe sind bereits nicht verfügbar. Das Spiel wird am 31. Oktober 2024 aus den App Stores entfernt. Die Server werden am 24. Januar 2025 endgültig heruntergefahren. EA bedankte sich in der Abschiedsankündigung bei seinen Spielern für ihre jahrelange Unterstützung.
