EA's long-running mobile game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, is officially ending. After a twelve-year run, the game will be sunsetting in early 2025.
The Shutdown Timeline:
In-app purchases are already unavailable. The game will be removed from app stores on October 31st, 2024. Servers will finally shut down on January 24th, 2025. EA expressed gratitude to its players for their years of support in the farewell announcement.

If you've never experienced Springfield's virtual reconstruction, now's your last chance. The game lets you rebuild the town after Homer's disastrous mishap, featuring all your favorite characters and iconic locations. You'll manage Springfield's growth, from Homer's antics to the daily lives of Marge, Lisa, and Bart. Expect plenty of fun with characters like Fat Tony and costumes like Daredevil Bart, even expanding to Springfield Heights and running the Kwik-E-Mart.
