Fraîchement sorti du panel des 20 ans d'Avatar : Le Dernier Maître de l'Air de Nickelodeon au Comic-Con de San Diego 2025, voici notre premier aperçu d'Avatar : Sept Cieux.

IGN était présent sur place dans le Ballroom 20 pour la révélation et a capturé le moment ci-dessous.

Avatar : Sept Cieux est une série d'animation 2D de 26 épisodes. Elle suit un jeune adepte de la Terre qui est l'Avatar succédant à Korra. Les créateurs originaux d'Avatar : Le Dernier Maître de l'Air, Michael DiMartino et Bryan Konietzko, sont les co-créateurs de la série.

Nickelodeon décrit Sept Cieux comme se déroulant dans un monde fracturé par un événement catastrophique. Une jeune adepte de la Terre apprend qu'elle est l'Avatar après Korra, mais en ces temps périlleux, cette responsabilité la marque comme le fléau de l'humanité, et non sa protectrice. Pourchassée à la fois par des ennemis humains et spirituels, elle et sa jumelle disparue depuis longtemps doivent démêler leur passé énigmatique pour sauver les Sept Cieux avant que les derniers bastions de la civilisation ne s'effondrent.

La série sera diffusée en deux saisons : un Livre 1 de 13 épisodes et un Livre 2 de 13 épisodes.

Il s'agit de la première série télévisée principale issue d'Avatar Studios. Le studio produit également un long métrage d'animation centré sur Aang, dont la sortie en salles est prévue le 30 janvier 2026, et qui suivra l'Avatar adulte dans un nouveau voyage.
