Adin Ross Remains Committed to Kick Streaming Platform
Adin Ross has definitively stated his intention to remain on the Kick streaming platform indefinitely, putting an end to recent speculation about his departure. Ross's unexpected absence from Kick earlier in 2024 fueled rumors of a potential exit, but his recent return with a new livestream, alongside fellow streamers Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, confirms his continued commitment.
The popular and often controversial streamer joined Kick after a permanent ban from Twitch in 2023. His move, along with other high-profile creators like xQc, significantly contributed to Kick's rapid growth. While Ross enjoyed success on Kick throughout 2023, his sudden hiatus in 2024 sparked concerns, including whispers of a rift with Kick CEO Ed Craven. However, a December 21, 2024 livestream with Craven and a subsequent tweet from Ross confirmed his long-term commitment to the platform.
"Bigger" Plans on the Horizon
Ross's announcement also hinted at "bigger" projects in the works. While specifics remain undisclosed, many fans speculate this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, which he intends to expand with Kick's support. Given previous legal challenges with Misfits Boxing earlier in 2024, the success of future Brand Risk ventures will be closely watched.
Ross's decision is a positive development for both his fanbase and Kick, which continues its aggressive growth strategy. Kick co-founder Bijan Tehrani's previously stated ambition to either surpass or acquire Twitch, while ambitious, seems increasingly plausible given the platform's current momentum. Ross's continued presence undoubtedly strengthens Kick's position in the competitive streaming landscape.
