Alchemy Stars to Shut Down After Four Years, Offline Version Planned

Tencent and Level Infinite have recently announced the upcoming shutdown of Alchemy Stars, a game that made its debut on mobile platforms back in June 2021. In an exciting twist, instead of a complete closure, Alchemy Stars will transition into an offline version, allowing players to relive the game's story even after the official shutdown.

When Is the Game Wrapping Up Its Services?

Alchemy Stars is set to conclude its live service operations on January 24th, 2025. In preparation for this shift to an offline version, the game will undergo maintenance on January 10th from 4:00 to 9:00 GMT to introduce version 1.43.0. It's essential for players to update their game post-maintenance to utilize the new local data save feature. This feature is your golden ticket to preserving all your hard-earned progress. You'll find a data save button on the main page; simply tap it to navigate to a page where you can secure your user data.

Remember, you can save your data multiple times, but this option will only be available until January 24th at 4:00 GMT. Post this deadline, any unsaved data will be lost forever.

Once Alchemy Stars transitions to its special offline edition, no further updates will be released. Additionally, if you decide to delete the app, you won't be able to download it again, as reinstalling won't be an option. The offline version will allow you to explore your saved data, enjoy the story, and upgrade your units.

Having an offline version certainly beats a total shutdown, don't you agree? Make sure to prepare for the offline version and download the game from the Google Play Store before it's gone for good.
