New Subclasses in Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 8

Bard - College of Glamour
With the College of Glamour, Bards gain the ability to heal allies and command enemies. The Mantle of Inspiration spell grants allies temporary hit points, while Mantle of Majesty allows you to control Charmed enemies, directing them to perform various actions.

Barbarian - Path of Giants
Choose the Path of Giants to harness the power of giants, increasing your strength and size through the Giant’s Rage passive. This not only boosts your damage with Throw attacks but also enhances your carrying capacity.

Cleric - Death Domain
Clerics of the Death Domain can now wield dark magic, including spells that deal necrotic damage and three new necromancy cantrips like Toll The Dead. Additionally, you can now explode nearby corpses to damage enemies.

Druid - Circle of Stars
Druids of the Circle of Stars can transform into Starry Forms, each offering unique abilities: the Archer deals radiant damage, the Chalice heals, and the Dragon boosts constitution rolls, enhancing your role as a healer, fighter, or strategist.

Paladin - Oath of the Crown
Paladins sworn to the Oath of the Crown can guide allies with Righteous Clarity, taunt enemies, and protect their party with Divine Allegiance, absorbing damage and restoring health.

Fighter - Arcane Archer
Arcane Archers blend magic with archery, featuring new shooting animations and abilities to banish foes to the Feywild or inflict Psychic damage that can blind enemies.

Monk - Drunken Master
Drunken Masters can consume alcohol to recover Ki and use Intoxicating Strike to buff their Armour Class and hit chance against drunk targets. They can also sober up enemies with Sobering Realisation, dealing physical and Psychic damage.

Ranger - Swarmkeeper
Swarmkeeper Rangers command three types of swarms: Cloud of Jellyfish for lightning damage, Flurry of Moths for Psychic damage and potential blindness, and Legion of Bees for piercing damage and knockback, each also offering teleportation capabilities.

Rogue - Swashbuckler
Swashbuckler Rogues can blind enemies with sand, disarm them with a weapon flick, and use Fancy Footwork to avoid opportunity attacks during melee combat.

Sorcerer - Shadow Magic
Shadow Magic Sorcerers thrive in darkness with Superior Darkvision and Shadow Walk. They can summon the Hound of Ill Omen to harass foes and use Strength of the Grave to stay in the fight longer, especially useful in Honour Mode.

Warlock - Hexblade
Hexblade Warlocks can curse enemies, raising their spirits from corpses to deal necrotic damage and heal themselves by ripping away parts of the enemy's soul.

Wizard - Bladesinging
Bladesinging Wizards combine swordplay with spellcasting, featuring new animations, a Bladesong ability for speed and agility, and bonuses to Constitution saving throws.
