Bam Margera, the iconic skateboarder and Jackass star, will indeed be featured in the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, despite not being included in the initial roster announcement. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.
Bagley revealed that the game was "already done" when Tony Hawk personally reached out to Activision, requesting Margera's inclusion. Although initially told it was not possible, Hawk's persistence paid off, ensuring Margera's place in the game. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.Margera, known for his professional skateboarding career and his role in the Jackass franchise, has faced significant personal challenges, including struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, leading to multiple rehab visits. He was also dismissed from the Jackass Forever project and faced a restraining order from director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats.
Recent videos of Hawk and Margera skateboarding together sparked speculation about Margera's return to the game, which has now been confirmed.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game overcame significant hurdles, including the near-cancellation following the merger of its original developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
