EA has unveiled an exciting new initiative called Battlefield Labs, which serves as an internal closed beta for upcoming games in the iconic Battlefield series. The developers have teased fans with a brief glimpse of gameplay from the current pre-alpha version, stirring anticipation among the community.

Within Battlefield Labs, a select group of invited players will have the unique opportunity to experience and test core mechanics and innovative concepts. However, not all tested features are guaranteed to appear in the final release. Participants will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to access these gameplay elements. The testing will initially focus on core combat and the game's renowned destruction system, with subsequent phases dedicated to balance testing. Available game modes for testing will include Conquest and Breakthrough.

EA has opened pre-registration for Battlefield Labs on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, with invitations set to be sent out to a few thousand players in the coming weeks. The company plans to gradually expand the program to more regions as development progresses.

While no official release date has been set yet, the game is being crafted by a collaborative effort from four studios: DICE, Motive, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect. This multi-team approach promises to bring a diverse and rich gaming experience to fans eagerly awaiting the next installment in the Battlefield saga.
