Marcin Blacha, Vice President and Narrative Lead at CD Projekt Red, highlighted that Project Hadar requires an "extraordinary team." Talented developers are invited to explore the available job openings and join the team shaping the game’s future.
Distinct from the critically acclaimed The Witcher series, inspired by Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, and Cyberpunk 2077, based on a tabletop RPG, Project Hadar unfolds in a completely new universe crafted by CD Projekt Red. While details remain limited (aside from confirmation that it won’t be a space horror story), until recently, the project was primarily handled by fewer than twenty individuals.
Currently, the Hadar team is hiring for various roles, including programmers, VFX specialists, technical artists, writers, and mission designers. The enthusiasm among top developers, who describe this opportunity as a "once-in-a-lifetime chance," suggests the project has advanced beyond initial conceptual stages into full-scale development.
CD Projekt Red is simultaneously managing multiple initiatives. The largest team is focused on Project Polaris, the inaugural title in the new Witcher trilogy centered around Ciri. Two additional teams are working on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and a game set within the Witcher universe.
