The Chainsaw Man movie was announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life after forming a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This newfound power allows him to sprout chainsaws from his limbs and head, transforming him into the formidable Chainsaw Man.
In Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, audiences will be introduced to Reze, a pivotal character from the original manga. The film is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, with the entire voice cast from the anime series returning to reprise their roles.
