Disney Dreamlight Valley: Complete Aladdin Quest Guide and Rewards

Disney Dreamlight Valley's free Tales of Agrabah update brought Aladdin and Princess Jasmine to Dreamlight Valley, letting players welcome them both home. This guide details all of Aladdin's Friendship Path quests and rewards, and how to unlock them.

Aladdin’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Aladdin's first request, upon arrival, is a simple one: a photo with the Magic Carpet. Equip the Carpet as a companion from your wardrobe and snap a selfie to complete "Carpet Diem," starting your Agrabah adventure.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

Leveling Aladdin up with his favorite gifts unlocks "Good As Gold." Aladdin needs your help casing Scrooge McDuck's shop to test his new security system. First, chat with Scrooge, then take photos within his shop: one of the vault door, and two showcasing the staircases (aim for wide shots to cover all requirements efficiently). Report back to Aladdin. He’ll suggest dark, sporty attire (optional, but recommended for immersion!).

Once dressed, talk to Aladdin. He'll instruct you to press the large red button near the counter, activating Scrooge's security system. The shop transforms, with lights and buttons controlling their positions. Navigating this requires some experimentation. A suggested order: activate the center button, then the back-right wall button (twice) to control upstairs lights. Move the spotlight using the button above the right staircase, then turn off the light over the left staircase using that button. Press the center button again to turn off the light at the bottom of the right staircase.

Downstairs, use the right counter button to move the spotlight at the front door. Then, use the left counter button to turn off the light above the main button. Press the main button again. Speak with Aladdin in front of the vault.

Coins will appear; collect all four using your glide ability. Give these to Aladdin. More coins have escaped into Dreamlight Valley—collect nine more. Finally, return to Aladdin and Jasmine's house, give him the remaining coins, and take a photo with him and the gold pile. Conclude the quest by speaking to Aladdin again.

Bring Your Own Carpet (Level 4 Friendship)

Aladdin wants a Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Merlin directs you to the Dreamlight Library for three books: Fabric Enchantment, Carpet Weaving, and Flying Technique (located near the back left book pile, back right shelf, and left of the central desk).

Give the books to Aladdin. He'll send you to Minnie for supplies: 4 Dream Shards, 4 Blue Hydrangeas (Dazzle Beach), 4 Purple Bell Flowers (Forest of Valor), and 25 Fiber (Kristoff's Stall or crafting). Bring these to Aladdin’s house.

After Aladdin crafts the carpet, interact with it to make it fly. Follow Aladdin's guided tour: under the Plaza banner, left towards the Forest of Valor, across the forest, right down to Dazzle Beach, right up to Peaceful Meadow, left back down to Dazzle Beach, left across the bridge, right to the pier's end. Remember to use the quest tracker if you get lost. Note: the carpet functions as a glider, not a free-flight vehicle.

Complete the quest by speaking to Aladdin at the pier.

All That Glitters (Level 7 Friendship)

Aladdin's Level 7 quest involves creating a bouquet for Jasmine. Gather 4 yellow and 6 purple flowers and give them to Aladdin. He then reveals he wants a more meaningful gift.

He has a scroll ("To begin at the mermaid’s isle"). Go to Skull Island's raft to Ariel's island. Find the Golden Sun Piece (upper right peninsula), insert it into the tall rock, and talk to Aladdin about the pillar image. Dig up the buried box (north of the rock), fish up the pillar piece (near the raft), and open the nearby barrel.

Interact with the pillar, adding the pieces. Talk to Aladdin. He suggests asking others for help. Take a photo of the pillar. Talk to Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel—they're unhelpful.

Return to Ariel's island; Jasmine is there. She explains the pillar pieces rotate, and clues are on the island. Interact with the Golden Sun Piece ("From the tiniest seed, water creates blooms as tall as golden towers"). Rotate the middle piece to show water, the bottom piece to show a seed, and the top piece to show a flower.

Collect the treasure (left of the pillar) and give it to Aladdin. Complete the quest by speaking to Aladdin.

Rewards from Aladdin’s Friendship Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Friendship with Aladdin increases through daily conversations, gifting (three gifts daily), and bringing him on tasks. Serving him meals (especially 4- or 5-star dishes) at restaurants significantly boosts friendship.
