Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, dubbed Sandlord, has just launched, marking the game's most expansive season to date. This thrilling update is now live, introducing a plethora of new content that transforms the traditional gameplay into an experience where you construct a floating empire in the sky.
What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?
The star of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city you'll manage. Here, you'll collect resources from the Netherrealm and convert them into tangible benefits by assigning workers to one of five professions. This system unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, seamlessly blending ARPG combat with strategic simulation.
The character Thea has undergone a sinister transformation. No longer a divine channeler, she now goes by the name Blasphemer, spreading desecration instead of blessings. Her new ability involves stacking Erosion Damage, which intensifies over time.
The Deep Space region has also received a significant update, introducing five new stages brimming with monsters and survival challenges. A new item called Probes has been added, which functions similarly to Compasses but occupies its own slot, enhancing both the rewards and the difficulty of your adventures.
New Stages Are Here
The endgame has been enriched with new Legendary Stages. These rare stages offer unique loot setups that can alter your gameplay strategy. Some zones, like the Abyssal Vault, break from tradition by featuring no enemies, only stacks of Mystery Chests ripe for the taking.
Conversely, the Sea of Rites introduces a swarm of goblins that don't attack but can be defeated to potentially summon a secret boss. The Supreme Showdown stage brings the Golden Gaze mechanic into play for both players and bosses, allowing you to transform enemies into treasure with the right hit.
As Torchlight: Infinite celebrates its second anniversary, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the latest season's adventures.
