Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio Celebrates Like A Dragon 20th Anniversary

Fans Can Vote For Like a Dragon 20th Anniversary Merch Until March 21, 2025

As Like A Dragon (LAD) gears up to celebrate its 20th anniversary in December 2025, Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio has launched an exciting fan-voting project. This initiative allows fans to select their favorite in-game items to be transformed into real-world merchandise. With a diverse selection of 100 items ranging from lingerie and incense to mahjong tiles, karaoke microphones, luxury lighters, 20th-anniversary sake, themed pillows, and Kiryu’s iconic dragon mask, there's something for every fan. The RGG voting website promises that the item receiving the most votes will be commercialized within the next two years.

The voting period commenced on February 8, 2025, and will conclude on March 21, 2025. Fans are allowed to cast their vote once per day. Following the voting period, a questionnaire will be released to finalize the design of the top-voted item.

Like A Dragon 20th Anniversary May Possibly See More Yakuza Remakes

RGG Studio hinted at their plans for the 20th anniversary in a Twitter (X) post on December 8, 2024, during their 19th anniversary celebration. In the video, RGG Studios Director and Executive Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama expressed his gratitude to the fans for their unwavering support of the series.

To kick off the 20th anniversary celebrations, RGG will release Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on February 20, 2025. Yokoyama also mentioned that various events and announcements are planned leading up to the anniversary, including the ongoing merchandise voting project.

Since the initial announcement, there have been no further updates on additional events or games for the 20th anniversary. However, fans are hopeful for significant announcements, drawing parallels to the 10th anniversary when RGG announced remakes leading to the release of Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami.

Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii PC Requirements

Recommended Specs Not A Problem For Most Gaming Units

On February 10, 2025, RGG Studio shared the PC requirements for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii via Twitter (X). The recommended graphics card is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or any equivalent or newer model, which should be manageable for most gaming setups.

Given that the game will also be available on previous-generation consoles like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the PC specifications are expected to be easily met. RGG Studios has also confirmed that the game is Steam Deck verified.

SEGA recently released a story trailer on YouTube, showcasing Majima's adventure on the High Seas, narrated by Pirate King Raymond Law, voiced and portrayed by wrestling superstar Samoa Joe.
