The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered breathes new life into Bethesda's classic with enhanced visuals, refined gameplay mechanics, and more. Yet, in a nod to nostalgia, the team at Virtuos chose to retain one of the original game's most iconic and beloved quirks.
Veteran fans of The Elder Scrolls series are no strangers to Master Speechcraft trainer Tandilwe, the High Elf found in the Temple of the One within the Imperial City. When Oblivion first hit the shelves for PC and Xbox 360 nearly two decades ago, Tandilwe's voice acting became a topic of conversation. One particular line, delivered by actress Linda Kenyon, was a blooper that many assumed was accidentally left in the game.

As players embarked on their journey through the revamped world of Cyrodiil yesterday, many were eager to discover how true the remaster stayed to its roots. While the game boasts updated environments, character models, and items, fans have been delighted to find that cherished imperfections from the 2006 original remain. Tandilwe's now-famous blooper, still without subtitles, has returned to the delight of the community.
